Om Shanti!
Baba talks about the karmateet stage, and also to be like Baba. Baba talks about our stage of perfection, and the definition of a yogi. A yogi is described as one who maintains one’s own original eternal stage when facing various situations, diverse situations. A yogi maintains that stage of being equal, no fluctuations, whether it is praise or defamation, whether it is respect or lack of respect. It says further that whether it is defeat or victory. So any kind of situation. A true yogi remains in a stable stage, and I think that most of us have gone through all these situations. I remember that when I came to Baba in Delhi, there were many who used to come, and based on the wrong impression about Brahmakumaris, would come and say things which were not that good. At that time, there was so much intoxication, so much faith in Baba, and love for the people. I ever reacted to someone's anger, someone’s attachment. I shouldn't respond the same way, whether it is anger or ego. So that’s elevation, and then you become one who can help others to transform. Not only that, but then you become a deity for that soul, because that soul will say it's all because of you, it happened because you gave this attainment. A soul who is going to reach the highest destination of a yogi life will transform slander into praise, rejection into respect, insult into self-confidence, defamation into upliftment, and will remain constantly victorious. Such a soul will be equal to the Father, one of the eight jewels, and a special deity of the devotees. Sometimes Baba gives an example that some are Lord Rama’s devotees, some Lord Krishna’s, so they want to worship Lord Rama, even if the same temple and they don't like the fragrance or whatever they offer to another deity or some will offer to everyone, they go and bow to everybody. So Baba is saying that when you go beyond all these behaviors of people, they watch you and they are really appreciative and surprised to see that you have such a stage, that you do not fluctuate. So worshipping is coming from attainment of what you see in your stage. That is why someone said that whatever we teach, and if in practical, we are doing that, it gives power to others. Recently someone was sharing an experience where you tell everyone don't get upset, don't get angry, speak gently, then you don't do that. So then the faith of that person starts fluctuating. So, whatever we teach, we have to be an image of that, and when we are swaroop, then it is easy for others to look at you, as their isht dev. So it’s very interesting and good to have homework, reflection, and then practice.
Om Shanti
