Baba says to constantly maintain the feelings of love and mercy. This requires determination, to be consistent, and to practice. When we don't see any changes in a person or a situation, then our feelings of love, mercy could reduce or we could very subtly give up also. So, Baba wants that whatever the situations are, you maintain the feelings of love and mercy. Whatever the other person has could affect you if you do not maintain or practice or have determination. So even if you say, “Oh, I always have feelings of love and mercy”, but once in a while in between, you will find you are losing those feelings because you're not seeing any change. Then you say, “I forget about it, I can't do it anymore. It's not happening, all these thoughts can come in the mind. I have always good feelings, I have always merciful feelings, but it's not always, right? Baba wants us to be this ‘always’. For that, as I said, practice and watch yourself that others are not affecting you, influencing you, and you'll find that your feelings are getting lost and I think it happens. So, Baba said that no matter what type of souls come into contact with you, so many souls, whether they are satoguni or tamoguni, always have pure thoughts for everyone. That's why in today's Murli Baba spoke about awareness, attitude, drishti, and kruti, that means actions. Actions are visible, but the other three are invisible. Awareness, smriti, attitude then vision, and then comes action, then action makes strushti, or the world. So our world, everything, how people look at me, what they say about me, what I am, it's a world, no? It could be five souls, it could be two, but it's like a whole world. So change has to happen from awareness, and awareness is what Baba is talking about, to have love and mercy. From your attitude, love a person, and then the way you interact, way you express yourself, all that is attitude. Then we do actions and that creates the world. So, Baba says to always have pure thoughts for everyone. Always uplift even those who defame you. Never have a vision of dislike for any soul, because you know that soul is influenced because of not having knowledge. If a soul has knowledge, the soul will make effort. So, Baba says that the soul has no understanding. One would never dislike a child who acts without understanding or in ignorance, there would be a feeling of mercy and love for that child. It's so easy, but in practical and to be consistent and to maintain, I think requires a lot of practice and determination.
