Om Shanti! Is everyone happy, okay? Baba always gives us different methods to do double tasks. From every thought you can accomplish double attainments and that double is for the self and service of others. If others receive but I don’t receive or I receive and they don't receive, that doesn’t work. So, Baba is saying that you will make quality effort, the reward goes to you, and from you to others. What is sustenance? What is the role of an instrument? To be an inspiration for others. When I do something new, something different,something elevated,something full of enthusiasm,it inspires others. You can keep telling people to do something,they will do it, but not for a long time. If you want them to be very natural in doing, then they have to be inspired. I remember that when I was in London Dadi Janki was with us. So sometimes,we have to go out, or we are busy giving courses. At 12 o'clock, if we are not there, Dadi will start cooking. The students saw this, and that inspired them to bring lots of vegetables. We also felt that if Dadi can do it, then we can inspire others also? It is just like action, when that action is visible then it definitely inspires others. Otherwise they only see you teaching. Yagya is sustained by such inspiring actions. Brahmins have a habit of thinking positive,speaking positive,and saying encouraging words. It is natural for us, because we believe in those words,there is purity and love in those words, so it becomes a blessing for others.
Those who receive the reward, they definitely internally feel very good and start appreciating. This is high quality thought, not ordinary thoughts. So, it has to become our habit. It has to become our nature to inspire others. Our relationships become good. Lot of things are learnt from each other. We inspire each other also. Baba is saying that we should increase the quality of our mind then quality souls will come close. There is double service in that. It is a kind of balance where you find you are progressing, and service is successful. If your stage is very good but you find service is not happening as it should be. We have to look at what is missing? When you have a powerful thought for service,you speak with conviction, then you bring it into reality. Don’t say,”I am not sure”. Actually it should be,I am sure,this will happen. Humility doesn’t mean being doubtful. Humility also means being very positive. There is double service in this,of the self and others. You will not have to make a separate effort for yourself. You will experience your stage to be as though you have attained your fruition or reward. One needs to experience this. That will make you feel full, that I have attained something. If you don’t feel the reward then you feel as if you are going through the motions, I am not getting anything, I am not able to do what I want… a lot of ordinary thoughts come. So, it is important to keep the quality thoughts high. Elevated reward of the present time is for the self to be always full of all attainment and to make everyone full. Anyone who feels empty or feels they need something, through our vibrations, our conversation,everything should help them to feel that they are also rewarded. One time we asked Dadi,”How do we know that we used everything in a worthwhile way?” She said to have such a good thought, itself is a reward. Why do you think so much? A good seed will be a good tree. I really achieved something. Continuously doing elevated service is the reward. You continuously get opportunities to do things through your body, mind, wealth, your talents, and your skills. This is also a reward. You have so much opportunity. That becomes attainment. So this is how you will remain full of attainments, and you will inspire others also in the same way.
