Image of contentment means cheerful because contentment has a lot of connection with happiness, joy. Some souls I have seen, they're always enthusiastic, loveful, and some always have something or other lack of contentment. I know that we are on this spiritual journey and Baba wants us to become perfect. To become perfect, Drama, scenes of Drama, different actors, they will come into our lives so that we can become perfect. Just now we heard that we have to pass with honours, and as I think, the way we think and look at a situation or a person is a lot up to us, too. Dadi Prakashmani became the head of the Yagya or institution. So everyone knew it was quite a responsibility. Even in the last few days she said, “I'm not responsible, I am with Baba,” but still we know that she had to do it. So we thought that there should be someone with her who is very light-hearted. So Mohini, the other Mohini from Madhuban, was appointed to be with her. She was the one who would always make Dadi laugh and joke. The situations sometimes could be serious, and we don't want our heads to be serious because it's all right. So how do we help them to make everything easy? You know that we never went with any problem to Baba or anyone, because you know it doesn't feel right, but they have to sustain us. So we also have to make everything light, humorous, and jovial. Not all the time, whenever there is this talk about an issue or a situation. I know that I will never go to Baba and say anything about anyone or any situation. I always say that Baba knows, this is part of life, one has to pass with honour. If whatever is happening doesn't happen, maybe I will never become perfect. So there is the aim, and then as Baba is saying that Maya has no power now, but Maya will attempt. Baba used to compare Maya with the mouse that slowly comes and bites you, and even if it starts bleeding you won't know.
So what is Maya? Ravan we know are the five vices, but Maya is the traces of those vices. Body consciousness, then anger, then and those traces which are still in the sanskars, they emerge. One time someone said something which a Brahmin shouldn't say, so someone went to Dadi Gulzar. Dadi Gulzar, how can she say it? Dadi said, “She didn't say that, it was Maya in her, it's Maya speaking.” So don't look at the person but say that Maya has come now. So you will not only remain light, but it won't affect you. Maya comes and Maya doesn't have its own form right, so she takes our forms, sometimes from this one or that one. I sometimes jokingly say to let one person every day take a turn, let Maya come in whatever form. Like we always like to see people happy, but they are not, so what do we do? Maya is coming to us to test us, did we give up our happiness or did we smile? So to be consistent, to be stable, means that whatever happens, I stay in that stage. Baba had been talking a lot about consistency, and we also want to be stable, not shaken, firm. There will be many things from sanskars, from situations that will try to shake you, but you say ‘no’ because our record is kept by Baba. I always say that it’s going to give me marks, it’s Baba and if we are stable, unshakeable and consistent, that's what Baba wants us to be. Then automatically our number goes higher. Even externally we find that okay this one was given by this one, that's temporary. Your fortune is in the hands of the Fortune Maker. I always say, let me do what Baba wants me to do, from that spiritual stage, and then I play my part.
You know we were brought up with teachings of Dadis, not by knowledge, but by teachings. Knowledge is in the intellect. In teachings, every word they spoke, So step by step, there were so many I should say corrections. Sometimes we didn't know what we wanted to be, but all that had helped us to reach where we are today. So according to Drama, Baba is helping, Drama is helping each one of us. So whenever something happens we should say thanks to Drama, but I can only say that if I pass with honour. If I fail, I won't say thanks. So time is short, let's be very stable, unshakeable, and consistent. Baba is saying that Maya has no power now. Many times Baba talked about the paper tiger, artificial face. Maya is already dead. So that's our homework for, we just say everything as maya is dead and has only Now on this last breath, you simply have to be victorious, simply have to be victorious for name sake. While being in any situation, be content in the upheaval of the atmosphere and vibrations, and you will claim the right to be an embodiment of contentment, an elevated and victorious soul. The virtue of contentment will make you free from thoughts, consistent, and stable, and give you the right to the seat of victory. Every day, I am victorious, a jewel of contentment. So, that's our homework for tomorrow.
