Ignorant of the Knowledge of Desires #2

Om Shanti!

Everyone is ok? Yes, in Avyakti Parivar everyone is ok, everyone is well. Yes, I know many of you are waiting for the session to continue from yesterday. Today is the second session. So I know there is a lot of curiosity there, can we call that a desire? Can we call it expectation or not? No expectation, no desire, then what is it? It's Drama, it's learning. Learning is the best quality one can have. Not only does it keep you full, but also very humble. I know or I don't know; these are very common words. I don't know. So, then try to find out. Hold on, I can try to find out for you. Then that's the training. I always tell them never to say ‘I don't know’. So there is always this whole thing of progress, learning improves and that is not a desire, that is life, because life is really to progress. Someone asked me, a young person, “can we be ambitious or not?” They feel that if you're not ambitious in life, you won't make attempts or initiatives. So I said, “Yes, you can be ambitious, but while being ambitious, what is important is that you ask if it is matching your aim. Is it matching your goal, or are you just ambitious? Like somebody said, “Can we demonstrate as BK’s? Can we join those demonstrations?” Something was happening and they were asking BK’s to join that demonstration. So they called me, and I said that it depends. If you are in that social community, but basically Baba will not advise us to demonstrate. We haven’t demonstrated in BK for anything. So learning every step, many of you were in the session in the morning with Asha Didi. I was hearing it all, and I was thinking about how our intellect has to be clear based on knowledge. Intelligence based on knowledge or purity. So if that is there, then you have answers, you see your path, you see very clearly where you have to go and what you have to do. So learning anything is very important.

One of God's qualities, Baba’s quality, is Bestower. He will never take, He will always give. There is also karma, karmic philosophy. So he must take to give, like Sudama had to take the raw rice, that's universal karmic law, and even God will abide by that. That’s another thing we should remember, that Baba also will not do anything that interferes with anyone's karmic account. Baba said, “Come and tell me your mistake. Half will be forgiven.” Half we still have to settle, right? So, Baba is the Bestower. So we have to be a bestower, like our Baba. We had a session here with some leaders. What comes first, abundance or generosity? Generosity. Do you all believe that? Ok, let's sit with a principle; if there is generosity, there will be abundance. So today Baba is saying that bestower means one who is full. You children of the Bestower are master bestowers, that's the main thing. I am a child of the Bestower. A bestower means one who is full. Such full and complete souls constantly stay in a stage of being ignorant of the knowledge of desires. They neither have a desire to receive anything in a subtle way nor in a physical way. They do not experience any lack of attainment for which they would desire to receive something. Only those who are full of all attainments can make others attain something. We all have different beliefs, some come from the path of Bhakti, but I had always believed that if you have desire, you are limiting your attainment, because maybe God wants to give you more. So, I never asked. I say that He is my parent, he knows my needs and he knows my future, he knows what is in my fortune. So I never asked because if I ask, maybe He wanted to give more. So he will only give what you asked for. That was always my belief and I maintain that Baba wants us to be full. He wants to bestow, but we limit. Oh, I want a big house, I want a big center. All Baba’s homes are my home. Everything is Baba’s. We are just nimit. We are trustees. So have generosity, be a bestower, and you will have all the attainments. You will be full, you will be complete. Whether it is knowledge, it is virtues, it is powers, or your fortune. You will always remain full.

Om Shanti
