Om Shanti everyone! So interesting Ramesh bhai was saying that definitely we all are number wise in our efforts. When there is a big race, the target is there. We have to get to that. So when people start running in the race,even if there is little distance between each other, when they touch the target,it becomes number wise. So the same for my effort, it’s like a race. You have to keep doing it.There are two things, one is Baba looks at your effort and if there is good quality of effort, Baba definitely gives you blessings from the heart. There are two words I am trying to find in English that explain these two Hindi words- ashirvad and the other is called vardan.  You probably heard this story that Jagdish bhai got a blessing that he will be able to write. He was a professor and an author. Once Baba wanted us to write a letter to the prime minister. In those days it was not common to do so. So that day the electricity was cut off, it was dark. So there was a reason not to write because there was no electricity. Jagdish bhai went on the street,sat under a streetlight and he wrote the letter. So next morning Baba asked in the class,who has written the letter? No one had written anything. Jagdish bhai was the only one who had written. Baba read that letter and gave him blessings that his pen will work like… I don’t remember the exact words. Our effort can bring blessings. It is not about  asking for blessings, it is based on effort. All of us are able to do whatever we are doing because of His blessings. I remember that Baba will call us suddenly to come to Madhuban. He would say that this is happening, Baba needs you to come. When we get there, he will really give blessings from the heart. We could feel it. So make an effort without any excuses. If there is laziness or carelessness, there will always be some reasons that you don’t make an effort or cannot do service. If we can cross both,maybe some sacrifice is required, and you get Baba’s blessings. That means you made your Mother and Father happy. It becomes our weakness if you make excuses for not doing service. So to become worthy of  blessings, get it done. 

There are some souls, nothing stops them from doing more, yet they make excuses, we call it maya or whatever. We always have to remember that blessings come when we keep crossing hurdles,making difficult easy, and impossible possible. As soon as you do it or start doing it, Baba’s blessing will help you and you will achieve it. Whenever any difficulty comes, it’s like Baba wants something bigger to be achieved. That is why they say,every storm brings a gift. Every crisis has an opportunity. We should take advantage of this opportunity. Combine two qualities: seed of knowledge and water of love. Baba sometimes in the Murli uses very strong words, but we read those words with a lot of love, because Baba is our Father. Father is trying to explain to us. One time Baba said,even if I am talking about Gurus,I am not defaming them, but I am showing you the contrast. Baba wants us to be the embodiment of knowledge and the embodiment of love. Let both the knowledge and the love be combined. To remain combined with Baba,what is required is knowledge and love. Knowledge is the seed and love is the water. When there is love in the heart, you will receive the fruit of attainment. Sometimes we ask, “Why are we not seeing the result? Why are we not seeing success or achievement?” Lack of water! That is your love from the heart, then remain detached, be a detached observer. All of that is part of the process, there has to be like Baba’s love through Brahma baba. That is why love, care and sustenance are all important.
