Om Shanti everyone!

Many of our Dadis and senior brothers are now in their angelic form, but each one had very special characteristics, and were very experienced souls. I remember in the 1960s when Rameshbhai and Ushaben came to knowledge. Rameshbhai's mother was the first one to come into knowledge in Bombay. He was on some other path, he used to study Gita. When Ramesh bhai and Ushabhen got married,his mother’s name changed to Shantamata. She was a very lovely mother, and she brought both of them after marriage, to take blessings from Baba. At that time there were very few, so he would have  question and answer sessions with Baba. In Rajasthan, we didn’t need to register as an organisation and Baba didn't want the organization to be registered with the government. So brahmakumaris were not registered at that time. A lot of people would donate a good amount of money and they wanted receipts for tax returns. Rameshbhai was an accountant and a lawyer both, and was very intelligent,  with a big office in Bombay. He suggested starting what we call as ‘World Renewal Trust’, so that people can donate. Then the Trust can help Brahma Kumaris also in financial matters. This is how the Trust began; a lot of new things he brought in the organization. He became very valuable and close to Baba. Rameshbhai and Ushaben both did  many good things, many beautiful things. We always loved them and respected him for his role in Yagya. Being in a family, being in business, and being in Bombay, he had a lot of experience. I still remember them, because Baba sent them to Delhi and he stayed with Dadi Prakashmani at the center, where I was. Then I went to Kashmir for 3 years. So, I would say he was a karmayogi, made good efforts and always made new service plans. So you all heard him. Today's ‘combined form’ should have the quality of karma yogi and karma yoga. For a minute let’s pause, so that we can look at each other, everyone with respect. In revised Murli Baba said that self-respect is the key to all the treasures. The first lesson is still a puzzle because we want respect, right? We still look for respect because there is a lack of self-respect. Instead of maintaining self-respect, we have a desire to get respect and then we are always disappointed and unhappy. These thoughts: I am not getting this, I do not get that, I am not good enough, are not helpful. All the time they don't focus on what I am getting, they remember what I am not getting, because of lack of self-respect. I always feel there is so much we get: love, respect, friendship, support, company, everything. While performing every action, always experience yourself to be a karmayogi. So keep checking, “Oh, am I remembering Baba?” Keep checking, keep looking at yourself. While performing any action do not forget to have remembrance. Baba says, “Let karma and yoga both be combined.” Day by day we have to do more, we think more and we speak more. So the only way we can reach the stage of karmateet is to increase remembrance while doing actions. Even though you might sit for many hours, when you are on duty you need to have remembrance also. Being in silence is good but equally we have to fulfill our responsibility. How do you create your fortune? Not only through remembrance, it is only when you do actions, you do your duty. In lokik life people spend ten hours minimum on duty, just for their livelihood. If they don't work that much, they can't pay rent. When we belong to Baba we don't think that way. Check, “Have I done eight hours of service?” If I do not take on responsibilities and fulfill them, then the soul is not gaining any power of doing action. We have to keep this in mind, because action is important. Internally I always feel I have to do something for Yagya, right? Whatever yoga and study I can do in the morning before 8:00, do it. Then for the rest of the day I cannot say I'm doing yoga. Do traffic control, reminding yourself I have to be karmayogi, remember Baba but do actions, enough action. This way you create your fortune with balance. Your stage is good because of remembrance and you have done enough seva to accumulate your fortune. Fortune is not in remembrance, fortune is in doing actions. So, that is why seva is important and remembrance also is very important.
