Truth and Good Manners #20

Om Shanti

Dadi Janki mentioned about the power of tolerance, that if there is tolerance you have all other powers, because as soon as we are not able to tolerate then all other weaknesses emerge too. So, whatever we hear we have to churn on it, experiment and that becomes your power and understanding. So, how do we reveal Baba? We always say that we have to reveal Baba. When we look at Dadi Janki, her courage, she always had been a fearless person. She was sharing that once in Punjab at Amritsar, there was a big conference of religious leaders and Baba asked her to go. One thing is that she never had any kind of subtle body consciousness, I am so short, I am like this, how will I stand in front of all these gurus. She had so much love for Baba and love for the truth, the knowledge that she will stand up anywhere, take people into silence and then she will speak with authority, not ego but authority. Once we all were together in Rio, Brazil, there were thousands of people, it was a big conference. Before speaking she started chanting Om so loud and there were thousands of people who also started chanting Om. It was such a beautiful beginning of the conference that everyone, all the organizers came to her to say congratulations. So, it's authority of truth and when there is authority of truth, then Baba is definitely revealed through us. One of the qualities Baba is talking about is fearlessness. All of us have to think, do we have a little bit of fear, maybe fear of anyone.

Someone asked me if I have fear or not. One of the fears I have is that if I say no to Baba for anything, he will get it done anyway, through someone and I will lose my opportunity. Baba used to tell us to take a chance, become Chancellor. Baba gives me enough strength and determination to say yes to Baba, all the time for every task. So, have the stage of being constantly carefree and free from worries. The sign of the power of truth is fearlessness. It is said that when there is truth then the soul dances. Those who have the power of the truth are constantly carefree and fearless. They continue to dance in happiness. This happiness is not external but an inner joy. Baba recently said you should be serious but not so serious. Joy has to be expressed: maybe in the form of enthusiasm or courage, it will be expressed in some way. Baba says that fear comes when sanskars and thoughts are weak. That is why it is important to  deeply go within the self, and find that sanskar which is causing that fear, worry or concern. With yoga and introspection burn that sanskar. Baba said that even if a small percentage is left, it will manifest, that shouldn't happen. Weaknesses will bring about some kind of upheaval in the mind, and you wouldn’t know how you should behave, what are your manners, what words you should be using, it's like you are out of control completely, all because of some weak sanskar. Therefore, Baba says to sacrifice your subtle weaknesses in this imperishable yagya of Rudra. It's not ordinary when you have an outburst of anger or something. Where is that coming from and why direct it towards souls, it is your sanskar, it creates a bondage. As soon as you notice that sanskar is emerging, immediately check from where it's coming from. What sanskaras are there from the past that this kind of behavior emerges, burn that sanskar. If we love yagya, these are obstacles in yoga. Someone's behavior is the obstacle. Why should I create obstacles, let me sacrifice. listen to that part of the Murli of this morning which we revised, and find your weak sanskar and burn it. Sometimes we let it go, we put up with it, you say that I got angry because I was feeling tension or I had a headache, but these are excuses. Even if it is someone's fault, remember that my response, my reaction, will make my sanskar stronger. So, each one of us has to look at how my manners, my sweetness disappears. Look at sanskar, burn it in this Rudra yagya.

Om shanti
